Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern attendance at all ticketed events hosted by TBL Farms LLC dba Two Bees Lavender (“the Farm”) at Clifton Estate in Kilmarnock, Virginia, and any satellite locations operated by the Farm. By purchasing a ticket or attending any Farm event, you (“Guest”) agree to be bound by these Terms in full.

These Terms apply to all event types including but not limited to u-pick experiences, farm days, festivals, private tours, and any other ticketed activities. Event-specific terms, where provided, supplement but do not replace these Terms.

Ticket Sales & Refund Policy

  • All ticket sales are final. Refunds are issued only if the event is cancelled by the Farm.
  • Tickets are transferable but non-refundable. To transfer a ticket, contact us at least 48 hours before the event.
  • Each ticket admits one (1) person. Children age 5 and under are admitted free of charge and do not require a ticket.
  • Ticket price includes farm entry and any inclusions specified in the event listing (e.g., one lavender bundle for u-pick events). Additional items or activities may be available for separate purchase on site.

Weather & Cancellation Policy

  • Events are held rain or shine unless severe or unsafe weather conditions require cancellation. Guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather.
  • In the event of severe weather, natural disaster, or other unsafe conditions, the Farm reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any event at its sole discretion.
  • If an event is cancelled by the Farm, ticket holders will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their ticket to a rescheduled date.
  • The Farm is not responsible for weather-related inconveniences or travel costs that do not result in a full event cancellation.

Farm Rules & Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to respect the Farm and its environment. The following rules apply at all times:

  • This is a working farm. Guests must wear closed-toe shoes suitable for uneven terrain and grassy fields. Open-toed footwear, high heels, and sandals are strongly discouraged.
  • Guests must remain on designated pathways, picking areas, and guest zones at all times. Access to farm equipment, outbuildings, and non-public areas is prohibited.
  • For u-pick events: lavender and other crops may only be cut in marked rows using tools provided by the Farm. Pulling, uprooting, or harvesting outside designated areas is strictly prohibited.
  • All children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
  • No pets are permitted on the Farm premises. No exceptions.
  • Guests are expected to treat Farm staff, vendors, and fellow guests with courtesy and respect. The Farm reserves the right to remove any guest whose behavior is disruptive, dangerous, or disrespectful, without refund.

Food & Beverages

  • Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless otherwise stated in the event listing.
  • Water and small snacks for young children are welcome.
  • Where food vendors are present on site, food and beverages are available for separate purchase. Vendor availability is subject to change.

Comfort & On-Site Equipment

  • Personal tents, canopies, pop-up umbrellas, and portable shade structures are not permitted during events, for the safety and sightlines of all guests.
  • Guests are encouraged to bring sunscreen, insect repellent, and appropriate clothing for outdoor conditions.

Photography & Media

  • Personal photography and video for non-commercial use is welcome throughout the event.
  • Professional photography sessions, commercial shoots, or drone operation are not permitted under a general admission ticket. To inquire about professional photography access, contact the Farm in advance.
  • By attending a Farm event, guests consent to being photographed or filmed by Two Bees Lavender and its authorized representatives for use in promotional and marketing materials.

Health & Safety

  • Two Bees Lavender is an active farm growing lavender and other flowering plants. Bees and other insects are naturally present. Guests with known allergies or sensitivities to lavender, bee stings, or other outdoor allergens should consult their physician before attending.
  • The Farm is not responsible for allergic reactions, insect stings, or adverse health events experienced on the premises.
  • Guests participate in all Farm activities at their own risk. TBL Farms LLC dba Two Bees Lavender is not liable for personal injury, illness, or property damage sustained during attendance at Farm events, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

Timed Entry & Session Tickets

Where events use timed entry or session-based ticketing:

  • Guests must arrive during their designated session window. Late arrivals may result in reduced time on site and do not extend the session end time.
  • Tickets are valid only for the session purchased. Entry is not guaranteed outside of the purchased session window.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Virginia law, TBL Farms LLC dba Two Bees Lavender, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from attendance at Farm events, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or loss of any kind.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northumberland County, Virginia.

Modifications to Terms

Two Bees Lavender reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. The current version will always be available at twobeeslavender.com. Continued attendance at Farm events following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
